Small series of potential business cards created within illustrator, I researched my assigned business/job description (foley artist). Then went through all imagery and physical tools associated with the position. A foley artist is somebody who creates sound effects for film/radio/televison. Not neccessarily recording the actually sound (As that can sometimes prove difficult), but rather by recreating that sound.
I chose to use coconuts for the foley artist card, an obvious theme associate with foley artists. Who often use them to recreate the sound of a galloping horse.
As the three cards had to be associated, the two remaining positons were filled by a sound supervior (In simple terms, tells the foley artist what needs recording), as well as a sound designer (Very broad term for an audio producer who works on film/televison sets). All of whom represent a team for hire called “FilmCrew”.
I thought “Film Crew dot come dot au” had a good ring to it.
