Latest club flyer I’ve created for the Dj duo I’m apart of.Attempting to follow on with our mexican themed nights, I’ve included a palm tree and stuck with our traditional “Mesquite Std” font to give it a a south american theme.Wanting the layout to be simple and easy to read I’ve kept everything horizontal, steering away from the sloping effect I used with the font in our last flyer. I think I slightly overused the “overlay” effect on the font, but It works well with the galaxy background I’ve been using so much. Just following the brief the promoters gave me!Using the overlay filter, I drew up the -zoom- lines under “Tues july 6 @ room680” in orange. By contrasting with the galaxy background It ended up turning out pretty well.
